Originally released to arcades before coming to the Nintendo Entertainment System, Mighty Bomb Jack follows up the original Bomb Jack. Only this time, Jack has to do more than just collect all the bombs in a given room. This time, he’s on an adventure! Mighty Bomb Jack takes place inside an ancient pyramid, where Jack must collect treasure and defeat the demon jerk Belzebut. Can you save the royal Pamera family? And most importantly, how much treasure can you grab while doing so? Mighty Bomb Jack is a classically styled 2D platformer, but unlike Mario or Sonic, Jack’s doesn’t pack much of a punch. He can only avoid enemies, and unfortunately, there are a LOT of enemies in this pyramid. Dusty mummies pop up from every corner, and they transform into even more difficult enemies in a matter of seconds. Mighty Bomb Jack is a single-player NES classic available now on the Wii U’s eShop.
