Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention for PC, developed by Climax Entertainment and Camelot and published by Sega.
Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention went up against Intelligent Systems' Fire Emblem series in Japan, and managed to serve as Sega's entry into the tactical RPG realm on a Mega Drive that had to survive against the onslaught of titles for the Super NES. In the rest of the world, though, Fire Emblem was a no-show, leaving Sega to claim the upper hand and reign supreme in the genre... at least, until Final Fantasy Tactics showed up.
