Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters from Nintendo for the Game Boy. Released in 1991, Of Myths and Monsters is a bittersweet piece of Nintendo history. On one hand, it's the game that made Kid Icarus a franchise. On the other, this would be the last Kid Icarus game until Nintendo finally brought it back on 3DS. Of Myths and Monsters game feels very similar to its NES predecessor, and in fact, that might be one of its flaws. But what it lacks in originality, the game makes up for with refinements and improvements.
