Halo 4 Disses PC, Watch Dogs' Release Year, Capcom Makes Large Hiring Statement - Nick's Gaming View Episode #98

Coming up today on Nick's Gaming View, Halo 4 unlikely to touch the PC, Watch Dogs' release year confirmed, and Capcom makes huge statement in regards to plan for hiring, THIS IS NICK'S GAMING VIEW!

Hello everyone and welcome to Nick's Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. The release millions of gamers have eagerly anticipated for years, Halo 4, is finally accessible providing access to Master Chief's latest adventure and feedback thus far has been exceptional, as expected. While Xbox 360 owners are hacking away online and building their stats, a select few have waited for an answer from Microsoft on whether or not the latest release will reach the PC platform. Breaking the hearts of those waiting, Microsoft has come out and officially stated "Halo 4 was designed specifically for Xbox 360, and while we're always exploring new ways to expand the franchise and share the Halo experience with as many fans as possible, we do not currently have any plans to port Halo 4 to PC." While this is certainly upsetting for the growing market of PC gaming, considering how visually impressive Halo 4 is on the 360, those eager to take part in the action shouldn't let the exclusivity keep them from being a part of the multimillion player community.

Another title sure to make a splash when it becomes available to the public, Watch Dogs, has received an official release year of 2013. Originally expected to be a next-generation title to later be confirmed as a PS3 and Xbox 360 release, Watch Dogs looks to bring an experience rarely seen in the realm of gaming, let alone on consoles. Will the futuristic, sci-fi bloodbath meet the high expectations built on its presence during E3 2012? Next year we shall see, but with the incredible team over at Ubisoft involved, concerns should remain quiet.

Wrapping up Nick's Gaming View, despite the many layoffs this year within the video game industry, Capcom has recently released a huge statement in regards to their hiring expectations over the next ten years. During an investor Q&A, Capcom announced that they plan to hire 1,000 additional developers over the next ten years on top of their already 1,500 on payroll. With a strong focus on building their internal game development team, Capcom sure has a lot on their plate and hopefully us, the gamers, will reap the benefits in the near future.
