Due to the holiday season, this is will be the last episode of Nick’s Gaming View for 2012, but to end off the year I will be providing my holiday gift guide for gamers aimed at those on the edge of last minute shopping, THIS IS NICK’S GAMING VIEW.

Hello everyone and welcome to Nick’s Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. Starting off my 2012 Holiday Gift Guide, what better gift to give than Nintendo’s Wii U. Successor to the incredibly successful Wii, Nintendo’s Wii U is off to a solid start with titles like New Super Mario Bros. U, ZombiU, and Tank! Tank! Tank! all available providing a solid lineup of games to kick off Nintendo’s attempt to reclaim a large majority of the video game market.

For those looking to amplify their audio game and engage in intense voice communication, there is no better solution than Turtle Beach’s Ear Force Tango RF wireless headset providing crystal clear audio and high quality build materials. Providing multiple presets for game audio and chat, the headset is loaded with a variety of features topping off the impressive audio quality justifying its relatively steep price point of $299.99.

Looking to take your gaming experience on the go while traversing back three decades? Already own an iOS or Android device with Bluetooth built-in? For the low price of $29.99, the iCade 8-Bitty can be had allowing you to turn your device into an arcade machine featuring an eight-button controller modeled similarly to the original NES controller wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Wrapping up my 2012 Holiday Gift Guide for Gamers, while the device is certainly off to a rough start, Sony’s PlayStation Vita actually has a solid lineup of games at this point for new adopters such as Uncharted: Golden Abyss, LittleBigPlanet, Gravity Rush, and Persona 4: The Golden, just to name a few. With 2013 around the corner, hope that the device will finally come to life is in place, let’s just hope Sony is able to prevent the device from being Sony’ first device failure within the gaming market.

Well that concludes today’s episode of Nick’s Gaming View but be sure to follow me on Twitter @NickMcCandless and to all of those traveling during the holidays please be safe and I look forward to returning in 2013 with my deliverance of the latest daily gaming news and happenings.
