CGR Undertow - LEGENDARY WINGS (CAPCOM ARCADE CABINET) review for PlayStation 3
  • 11 years ago
Legendary Wings review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Legendary Wings as included in the Capcom Arcade Cabinet for the PlayStation 3 developed and published by Capcom. Originally released to arcades in 1986, Legendary Wings is equal parts Xevious and Gradius, trimmed with the look of Kid Icarus and just a little dash of Metroid. The game is set in the future, where human civilization has evidently gone retro. It's a place where massive robotic canons stand next to stone temples modeled after ancient Greece. Legendary Wings is defined by this cool aesthetic that mixes past and future. And yes, lots of Kid Icarus. This video review features video gameplay footage of Legendary Wings as included in the Capcom Arcade Cabinet for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
