Sonic is back in his very first Wii U game! Released exclusively to Nintendo platforms, Sonic Lost World is an interesting game that combines SEGA’s iconic hedgehog with Nintendo’s Super Mario Galaxy. The game’s levels are similar to Galaxy’s planetoids, offering players individual floating level sections that Sonic must bounce between. It’s a unique blend of Sonic’s 3D and 2D elements, thrown together into a Sonic game unlike any other. The gameplay feels a tad slower this time, as well, as Sonic Lost World places more of a focus on platforming and exploration. Don’t get the wrong idea, though—you still blast around like a fuzzy blue pinball. Sonic Lost World features local multiplayer and is also available on the Nintendo 3DS.
