Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Fairy Fencer F for PS3, developed by Compile Heart and published by NIS America.

Fairy Fencer F looks, sounds, heck, it even smells like it belongs in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. And it's not just because it shares a developer; many of the assets, mechanics, and stylistic elements are lifted wholesale. This isn't a Neptunia game, though; you're not trolling through a twisted, self-referential game industry wonderland. Instead, it's a high-fantasy quest to collect 100 swords - yes really - and use the spirits within to de-pincushion the goddess who fought a world-rending evil eons ago. Did we mention Amano and Uematsu? Y'know, from Final Fantasy? They're from Fairy Fencer now. F.
