Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of WCW Nitro for the Nintendo 64 developed by Inland Productions and published by THQ. Though not as celebrated as games like Revenge and World Tour, Nitro is certainly packed with enough content to please WCW fans. The game features a massive roster of more than 60 WCW stars, from Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage to Kevin Nash and Dean Malenko. Chris Jericho is also in the game, despite being the victim of an apparent conspiracy. Unlike the hit AKI games at the time, Nitro is played with button combinations, a more old-school style of gameplay players will either love or hate. Originally released for the PlayStation, WCW Nitro features single-player and local multiplayer play and updated rosters on the Nintendo 64.
