WCW vs. The World review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of WCW vs. The World for the PlayStation developed by Asmik Ace Entertainment and published by THQ.

Join Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Sting and some of WCW’s greatest legends as they take on the world in WCW vs. The World. Coming just before the classic wrestling games of the PSX/N64 era, WCW vs. The World isn’t quite the same caliber as greats like Revenge and No Mercy, but it’s still a solid wrestling game in its own right. The game features a massive roster of more than 50 wrestlers, about a dozen of which are WCW legends. The rest of the wrestlers are fictional characters, but they’re based on actual international wrestlers from actual federations around the world. Want to create an invasion angle with WCW and All Japan? You can—kind of—do it with WCW vs. The World. The game features plenty of match options and cool comic-style caricatures of the wrestlers. WCW vs. The World includes single and local multiplayer play, brother.

This video review features video gameplay footage of WCW vs. The World for the PlayStation and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
