CGR Undertow - SAINT review for Nintendo Wii

Saint review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Saint for the Nintendo Wii developed by Starfish and published by UFO Interactive. Saint is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up. It feels like something from 1992, but not exactly a good something. From its oddly shallow gameplay to its barebones presentation and poor graphics, Saint has the feel of a budget title among budget titles. Based on the classic Chinese folklore of the Monkey King, players fly from left to right and shooter at 2D enemies. Few things are as fun as a good 2D shoot 'em up, but Saint is not a good 2D shoot 'em up. It's one of those Wii games that was released to stores very quietly and without much ado. That was probably a good strategy. This video review features video gameplay footage of Saint for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
