From the makers of Bayonetta, Okami and Viewtiful Joe comes a game that basically mixes all three. And adds lots and lots of Pikmin. The Wonderful 101 is a stylish Wii U exclusive from Hideki Kamiya. Players control a massive group of heroes who can join forces in the most literal sense. They can transform into giant fists, huge swords, massive pistols—and all it takes is for the player to draw it. The Wonderful 101 uses the Wii U's GamePad for lots of doodling and dual-screen action, making it one of the more illustrative examples of how to use the Wii U's controller. Each hero has his or her own gimmick and abilities, but together, they are The Wonderful 100. You, the player, are number 101. You must stop the evil GEATHJERK from invading and taking over the planet! The Wonderful 101 is inspired heavily by the absurdly over-the-top action shows popular in Japan, including programs like Power Rangers. Which is obvious, given all the transforming. Go Megazord on these fools in The Wonderful 101, a single and multiplayer Wii U exclusive. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Wonderful 101 for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
