The third WWE game released for the Game Boy, King Of The Ring followed up LJN’s two Superstars games. This release features a gameplay mode based on the WWE’s King Of The Ring tournament. That event’s first winner, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, is featured on the cover of the game. There are also several characters from the WWE’s New Generation era, including Hart, Shawn Michaels, Mr. Perfect, Yokozuna and more. Wrestlers do not have finishing moves, but they do have different attributes. WWF King Of The Ring features single-player and multiplayer play on the Game Boy.
