WWF War Zone video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of WWF War Zone for the Game Boy developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Acclaim.
Although it’s best known for its Nintendo 64 and PlayStation releases, the Game Boy version of WWF War Zone was actually the first one released. This is a 2D adaptation of that popular 3D wrestling game, but it features a complex control scheme that sets the game apart from most 2D wrestling games. The game features the biggest stars of WWE’s Attitude Era, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley. WWF War Zone features single-player and multiplayer play on the original Game Boy, and that’s the bottom line.
